Current transformers ТПОЛУ(TPOLU)-10-2 are designed for transmitting the measurement information signal to measuring devices, protection and control devices and for isolating secondary wirings from high voltage in the complete electrical devices of the internal installation of AC for a highest voltage for equipment of 12 kV with a frequency of 50 Hz .

Transformers are manufactured in the performance category U of the placement category 2 in accordance with GOST 15150-69.
Position of transformers in space - any.

The measuring secondary winding of the transformer is made on an nanocrystalline alloy core. This provides a large linear dynamic range of winding current and angle characteristics. At the same time, the long-term stability of characteristics during the whole service life of the transformer and stability of the magnetic circuit to magnetization (from unipolar impulse short-circuit currents) are ensured. In addition, the safety factor of the devices is ensured to be not more than three, which significantly reduces the emergency overload of the measuring devices connected to the measuring secondary winding.

The use of these transformers provides a reduction in operating costs for consumers.

Transformers comply with DSTU IEC 60044-1: 2008, GOST 7746-2001.
